Terms & Conditions
1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Scagnetti Fine Jewellers website and any purchase you make through it. By browsing or purchasing, you accept these terms in full. Scagnetti Fine Jewellers is a family atelier operating from 18 Napoleon St, Cottesloe WA 6011, trading in Western Australia.
2. Our Craft
Every piece we sell is handcrafted in our Cottesloe workshop. Because each item is made by hand — and many are one of a kind — slight variations from photographs are natural and part of the character of bespoke jewellery. They are not faults. Gemstones and pearls are natural materials and vary in tone and lustre.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST. Prices may change without notice; the price at the time your order is confirmed applies. Payment is processed securely by our payment providers (Stripe and PayPal) — we never see or store your full card details.
4. Orders & Availability
An order is confirmed once payment is received in full. Many of our pieces are one of a kind and held in our showroom; in the rare event a piece sells in-store before your online order is processed, we will contact you immediately to offer an alternative or a full refund.
5. Bespoke Commissions
Custom-designed and made-to-order pieces require a deposit before work commences. Deposits on bespoke work are non-refundable once fabrication has begun, as materials are purchased and labour committed on your behalf. Bespoke pieces are excluded from change-of-mind returns.
6. Layby & Payment Plans
We offer layby and payment arrangements in-store by appointment. Afterpay may appear at checkout for eligible orders within Afterpay's purchase limit.
7. Intellectual Property
All designs, photographs, videos and written content on this site are the property of Scagnetti Fine Jewellers and are protected by copyright. They may not be reproduced, copied or used for any commercial purpose without our written permission. Our bespoke designs are original works of craft — we ask that they be respected as such.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the purchase price of the item concerned.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
