We generally recommend professional restringing every few years, depending on wear. If knots look worn, silk is discoloured, or a strand feels loose, book an assessment sooner.

How often should white gold be rhodium plated?

Most clients re-plate every 1–2 years, depending on how often the piece is worn. We’ll advise after inspecting the current finish.

Can you remodel an heirloom into an engagement ring?

Absolutely. Remodelling and bespoke design are core to what we do — from preserving sentimental stones to creating a completely new handcrafted setting in our workshop.

Professional pearl rethreading helps maintain the longevity, quality and beauty of your pearls. Each pearl is knotted separately so they do not wear against each other and damage their surfaces.

We alter and restore pearl strands and recommend restringing every few years. If a strand is broken, needs an alteration, or simply needs caring restoration, our technicians in Cottesloe can help.
