All gemstone setting is performed at our onsite studio at Scagnetti jewellery, we are happy to assist with new and old pieces alike. The manner in which a gemstone is set can greatly influence and enhance the value and appearance, which is achieved with our team of highly skilled jewellers with fine attention to detail and care.

Pearl Threading

Having your pearls professionally rethreaded will aid in maintaining the longevity, quality and beauty of your pearls. Pearl knotting each pearl separately so they do not wear against each other and damage their surfaces.
We are able to alter and restore pearl strands; we recommend they be restrung every few years to keep them secure and in optimal condition.
If you have a pearl or bead strand which is broken, needs an alteration, or just needs a caring restoration to keep it secure, we can help. Patience and precision is required for the re-threading process. Come into our boutique where our trained technicians are experienced in a range of techniques to re-thread pearls and other gemstone beads, to restore them to their best.
Rhodium Plating

White gold jewellery is plated with rhodium to create a radiant white finish. Depending on the frequency of wear, the rhodium plating will wear and white gold pieces should be re-plated over time to maintain the bright white finish.
We offer a rhodium plating service, which we recommend take place every 1 – 2 years to keep a piece looking its finest. If you are uncertain, please consult our experienced team in store for plating and cleaning guidance.
