A halo frames the centre stone with a fine circle of smaller diamonds. The style earns its popularity honestly: it adds presence to the design and protects the centre stone's edge, which matters on a ring worn every day. The halo rings in this collection are made in our own workshop in 950 platinum and 18ct gold, with round, oval, cushion, pear and radiant centres, split claw and double halo designs, and art deco pieces among them.
Diamonds lead the collection, and colour runs through it: Ceylon and blue sapphire halos, Burmese ruby, emerald and citrine centres, each framed so the halo lifts the colour rather than crowding it. Every diamond we set is natural, selected and inspected in person, and for significant stones we recommend respected independent grading, most often GIA, reviewed line by line. How a halo performs is best judged in daylight, so we put rings side by side at the atelier before anything is settled.
If the right halo is not here, we design it: a conversation about your story and budget, sketches and CAD until the design feels right, then the stone set under one roof in Cottesloe, with most commissions ready within four to eight weeks of an approved design. A halo also deserves an early conversation about the wedding band, because a straight band can leave a gap against a curved or low set shank. Bands are made at the same bench, shaped to sit flush against the ring they will pair with, so the two read as one piece.
